This Year Dacey's Hollow will be held at Rhodes France Scout Reservation. The Scout reservation is also our chosen charity for the 2021 haunt season. We rate ourselves with a high scare factor rate, but this year we are also adding another half mile to our nightmare trail. Come hike through our 1&1/2 mile-long trail. The trail is considered to be moderately difficult and is not yet graveled. The path will be lite and marked well so we discourage the use of flashlights, glow sticks, and cell phones.

Dacey's Hollow is a volunteer not-for-profit organization in Shelby County Illinois. We host a family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat the 2nd Saturday in October with food, games, bounce house and of course candy for the kiddos.

Members of Dacey's Hollow make and build most of the props and artwork that is displayed during the annual haunted trail, as well as doing their own costumes and makeup design.

We proudly offer an evening twilight scare with full set designs and fewer actors so you can stroll through and enjoy the scenes.

We follow the Twilight Scare with the Full Dacey's Hollow experience. Volunteers will be in place and ready to give you a fright as you travel your way from scene to scene in this creepily beautiful outdoor setting.
